Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will combine financial expertise with strategic insight to drive the company's operational and financial success. In this role you will be supporting a multi-disciplined manufacturing operations; financial planning/analysis, reporting and compliance, capital & cash management, cost management, technology, systems and strategic planning.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- _Financial Management: _Oversees the work of the finance function as a whole to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; efficient and effective management of the finance function; accuracy and reliability of financial information; and overall management of funding and expenditures. Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- _Strategic Operations and Administration_: Provides support to the CEO in the area of forward work planning, strategic financial management, budgetary analysis and reporting
- _Audit, Compliance, and Internal Controls:_ ensures all renditions, audits and statutory compliance are carried out and on time, in line with US regulations and compliance requirements; preparing compliance reports for the CEO as required
- _Management Accounting_: set up and continue to improve effective management accounting systems and processes
- _Cost Management:_ monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including: raw materials, labor and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- _Management of Information Technology (IT):_ oversees and ensures effective use of IT systems to support organizational business processes including document management, client relationships management (CRM), event support, MRP Systems; leverages IT to support core business initiatives
- _Investment Management_: Undertakes the management of USA assets and securities including tracking investment performance and providing financial statement analysis to the Board and CEO. This includes managing the company's capital structure, debt and equity financing, optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives. Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and risk management strategies.
- _Property Management and Interface for Legal Matters_: USA properties, property uses and processes for property management and legal affairs as necessary.
- _Leadership and Talent Management:_ contributes to the Senior Management Team’s efforts to promote an organizational culture of collaboration, open and frequent communication, adaptation, alignment with the common vision

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong accounting, audit, financial management, and financial analysis skills
- Highly numerate with an ability to create, manage, interpret, and present financial analysis, forecasting and resource management
- Strong managerial and leadership skills with ability to manage and develop teams
- Ability to prioritize workload and function effectively within and outside the office in a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters and respond as required
- Understands legal language in all types of business contracts and risk assessments

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related field; Masters Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years in an upper management finance/accounting leadership role
- Experience in Strategic business planning with proven ability to develop and manage business plans, processes and controls; enhancing efficiencies and mitigating risk
- Proven ability to manage in Information Technology, Business Transformation, Project Management, and Asset and Property Management
- Experience with current US accounting standards, US Government grant processes, procedures, auditing requirements, and consolidated financial reporting
- Experience in and working knowledge of computerized management information systems and their implementation.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
