**Summary of Position**:
The Geotechnical Driller will complete the deployment of drill rigs, transporting, loading, and unloading equipment, complete Geotechnical Drilling and logging information from the job site during drilling operations.

**Accountabilities**:

- Lead the mobilization of drilling rigs and/or cone trucks for jobs as directed. Load drill pipe, mud, and equipment.
- Complete Geotechnical Drilling as per the Scope of Work.
- Physically complete labor-intensive projects assigned by the Project Coordinator/Project Manager.
- Assist with monitoring the performance of all equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area as directed.
- Complete all required paperwork directed by the Project Manager
- Attend all safety meetings and comply with both company and client safety standards and programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including equipment and job site areas.
- Turn in all required paperwork to office on a daily basis.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities by Company safety rules and procedures
- All other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Operations Manager as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experienced Geotechnical Driller - Soils Augers, Wet Rotary and Wireline Coring
- Legally Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
- Experience working around drilling and heavy equipment
- Sufficient knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques to be responsible for an entire project
- Be available for drilling projects that require both in-state and out-of-state travel and overnight visits
- CDL A License (an asset)
- Familiar with and following DOT and IFTA regulations.
- Must have current driver's license with record in accordance with Company and DOT policies, class A license is highly preferred but not required.
- TWIC card.
- ISTC Basic Plus.
- HAZWOPER 40 Hour Certification.
- Previous geotechnical drilling experience is a major plus.
- It is the responsibility of the employee to have all required safety training and tickets for each project they work on. A list of training required will be provided to the employee and must be completed within 3 days of signed offer letter or prior to mobilizing to site. These courses may include but not limited to: H2s, OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, Confined space, API 1169.

- Field and Office with travel up to 90%
