The Ticket Sales and Service Manager is responsible for managing the Pepperdine Athletics Ticket Office needs for seven sports (men’s & women’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s water polo, baseball, women’s soccer) regularly, while managing postseason ticketing needs for all sports. The position will also be solely responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the ticketing office, including customer service, daily deposits, and reconciliation of tickets. The Representative will generate revenue primarily by creating relationships via outbound/inbound phone calls and face-to-face meetings with a concentration on season basketball ticket sales with a secondary focus on the season, single game, mini-plan, and group sales for all ticketed sports.

**Duties**
- Manage the day-to-day operations for the Pepperdine Athletics ticket office, using unsupervised judgment to generate revenue primarily by creating relationships via phone calls and meetings with a concentration on basketball season ticket sales. Secondary focus on the season, single game, and group sales for all ticketed sports. Operate and maintain the ticketing system (TicketSmarter).
- Oversee the ticket office on game days for seven sports (men's & women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, men's water polo, baseball, and women's soccer). Prepare ticket files and audit sheets, serve as sole staff member responsible for all point of sale transactions all while maintaining PCI compliance.
- Manage and oversee student staff ticket takers, ticket sellers and pass gate at all home athletic events.
- Plan and implement local community outreach initiatives including, but not limited to youth groups, churches and youth sports programs to sell group tickets and experiences.
- Sell and manage men's basketball season tickets, including prospecting new members, enhancing current member experiences and relationship building with this important group of friends and donors.
- During all regular season events, manage and report all coach and student-athlete pass lists for both home and road events, including postseason. Work with the Compliance office to ensure compliance protocols are upheld. Use knowledge of NCAA Guidelines and compliance education to ensure all protocols are followed accurately.
- Work with Advancement office to provide alumni and donor experiences and opportunities.

**Skills and Qualifications**

Required: Bachelor's degree required. Basic computer programs like G-Suite, Microsoft office.

Preferred: Master's degree preferred as well as relevant sales experience or knowledge of or relationships with local community groups. Knowledge of ticketing platforms and CRM systems is a plus.

This is a Regular, Exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Expected Pay Rate: $66,560 per year

The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
