**Now Hiring: AMR Ambassador**
**Starting Pay: $19.50 per hour**
**(5% increase upon completion of 90 probationary period)**
**Position Summary**:The AMR Ambassador will serve as a liaison to transfer service centers by requesting non-emergency and urgent transportation services in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
**Essential Duties Include but are not limited to**:
- Ensuring positive client relations, high customer service standards and maximizing services at the designated transfer services center.
- Initiate and maintain routine contacts at various levels of the designated Transfer Services Center in order to ensure smooth working relationships.
- Built solid relationships with personnel at various facilities and at the Transfer Services Center in order to promote services and assist in the identification of new business opportunities.
- Work with Business Development in developing effective communication between AMR Operations, Communications and Transfer Services Center personnel.
- Answer incoming calls from facilities and Transfer Service Center providers in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Coordinate scheduling of trips with facilities and Transfer Services Center providers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
**Education/Licensing/Certification**:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
**Experience**:
- **One year **of **customer service experience** is desired
- Must be familiar with local geography.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving a broad scope of issues while under pressure.
- Ability to effectively solve customer complaints in a timely manner by utilizing all tools available.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Must type 30 wpm.
- Must have effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
