**Primary Function**

Pharmacy Technician, the primary purpose of this position is to assist the pharmacy by coordinating, filling, data entry, packing, and shipping patient’s prescriptions in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**
- Pick/pack stock that corresponds to delivery tickets. Properly bags (to ensure no damage or loss) individual orders.
- Matches product description on delivery ticket with actual product.
- Pick/pack and box medications and supplies for deliveries/shipments by third party carries or air cargo.
- Accurately labels shipments with the correct address labels or third party shipping labels.
- Prepares shipping labels and manifests and inputs tracking numbers into the system.
- Completes pack outs according to written procedures and instructions specific to the products being used.
- Has the ability and knowledge to track third party shipments on the website.
- Assists in inventory control, notifies if stock is low or out by providing accurate stock or item numbers.
- Receives deliveries, matches with vendor invoice and purchase orders, and stocks the goods items in appropriate location.
- Type correspondence and forms as needed. Gathers data and prepares reports.
- Responsible for copying, scanning and faxing documents, as requested.
- Capable of frequent lifting and moving crates, boxes, equipment weighing up to 90 lbs.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Evidence of good communication skills
- Ability to work in an unsupervised environment

**Continuous Quality Improvement**
- Provides data as needed to the Pharmacy Quality Management Committee (PQMC)
