Southern Development & Construction, INC (SDC) is a leading heavy civil contractor based in Oviedo, Florida. Founded in 1994, SDC specializes in land clearing, earthwork, underground utility, grading, and paving for public and private clients in the Central Florida area. SDC maintains and operates an extensive fleet of modern, heavy equipment deployed by our experienced field crews, foreman and superintendents. SDC is seeking a drone pilot with an FAA part 107 remote pilot license for construction site monitoring. This involves safely operating our drone in accordance with all applicable Rules and Regulations. Training will be provided in survey grade photography and location. A company vehicle will be provided for site visits. This role requires the ability to work independently and ensure the safe operation of drones and accurate data collection.

**Responsibility/Duties**

The pilot will visit construction sites to collect aerial photography for site progress records. Communication with company drone scheduling and survey department for data receipt and accuracy will be required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Florida Driver License
- Clean Driving History
- Friendly and professional attitude. Willing to listen and learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and environments
- use of personal protective equipment is required at the job sites

Pay: $1.00 per hour
