**Job Summary**

As the Production Scheduling Coordinator, your role is pivotal in efficiently coordinating production schedules and materials to meet customer demands. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll prioritize production schedules, maintain the master production schedule, and ensure on-time deliveries while optimizing inventory levels. Collaborating across departments, utilizing ERP systems for scheduling, and addressing production issues are key aspects of your responsibilities. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

**What you will do**
- Plan and prioritize production schedules in alignment with customer orders and operational capabilities.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales, Supply Chain, and Engineering to gather necessary information for production planning.
- Maintain and update the master production schedule to align with the Sales and Operational Plan.
- Ensure on-time deliveries and maintain acceptable inventory levels.
- Utilize the ERP system to schedule and facilitate production activities.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to address production issues and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Schedule and coordinate machine routing changes based on priority, manufacturing orders, material availability, and engineering changes.
- Anticipate and recommend alternative scheduling approaches in response to delays or difficulties.
- Establish and maintain production Takt Times to meet customer demand.
- Monitor materials inventories and track production progress.
- Work closely with the materials team to ensure accuracy of raw materials.
- Conduct daily system maintenance and coordinate Engineering Changes.
- Continuously improve the Materials and Information Flow process to enhance efficiency.
