- Valid F02 Fire Guard certificate issued by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) preferred, mandatory on hire.
- Security guard license.
- Mandated Reporter which can be obtained online for free from an accredited state website.- Strong understanding of fire safety principles and regulations.
- ability to direct and control crowd in an indoor setting.- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.- Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.Education Requirements (Any)

Highschool/GED
College Degree
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Certification Requirements (All)

Fire Guard for Shelters F02
NYS Security Guard License
Mandated Reporter Training
NY State Security Guard License

Additional Information / Benefits
- Pay Rate for this site ranges from $17.00 and a supplemental benefit of $7.21/hour (up to 40 regular hours only) bringing your total hourly wage to $24.20 paid directly to the employee.
- Approved Holidays is double pay & Overtime is offered when available.Benefits: Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Supplemental Benefits and Union
