Overview:
**Responsibilities include installing fireproofing materials in new and existing commercial buildings to the required specifications designated by the material manufacturer, work extended hours, weekends and travel out of town as needed.**

**Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of fireproofing materials
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Fireproofer or in a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with others
