Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on healthcare management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

**Requirements**:

- Valid RN license in the state of practice (Delaware or Maryland)
- Proven experience in home care, senior care, case management, family planning, and other relevant areasThe inventory, distribution/delivery of medications is required for all Patient Care area Positions.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. Acts as a patient advocate. Provides support, information and direct care. Utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures.

Educates patients and families on significant self care issues. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.

Registered Nurse Position RequirementsLicensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or Delaware.

Minimum of 3 years dialysis experience with at least 2 years in a chronic setting and 1 year in an acute setting; CNN preferred.

Critical Care experience may be substituted for the acute dialysis experience.

Work Schedule: May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.Scheduled off at least three holidays per year.Required to work weekends per unit need.Expected to work overtime on occasion.Registered Nurse Benefits
