**Security Technician**

**Overview**:

- Technician wanted to install electronic intrusion, fire, access control, CCTV systems, and related security products, service or install security system components, hardware, firmware, and software.

**Education/Experience**:

- Must have previous industry experience
- Commercial experience a plus
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable of basic electronics and/or electrical practices
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, organization skills, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Must be drug free
- Must have clean background (State Police Background check will be conducted)
- Must have valid driver’s license with no more than two points

**Skills/Work Required**:

- Experience with the installation and service of enterprise level physical security systems and platforms (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion / Fire etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in installation, troubleshooting and testing of systems
- Advanced knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control, CCTV, and other security systems such as entry systems, the ability to review and interpret electronic security system drawings
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and security device symbols, code tables, riser and block diagrams, system component elevation drawings, panel designs, conduit related devices, system installation details and matrices
- Execute assigned tasks and projects with attention to detail and work as an integral member of the team
- Ability to work on your own managing your daily schedule, paperwork and timesheets

**Must be physically able to perform the following**:

- Frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, climb ladders
- Lift overhead, bend
- Frequently work in outdoor weather conditions
- Frequently move equipment
- Operate a motor vehicle

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Travel requirement:

- Travel
