Dietary Aide Supervisor

**Both shifts available: 5:30am-12:30p and 12:30pm-7:30p**
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, and service
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Train and supervise dietary staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to meet the nutritional needs of residents or patients
- Develop and implement menus that meet dietary requirements and preferences
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of meals served, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of dietary services and resident or patient preferences
**Skills**:
- Food management: Ability to plan, prepare, and serve meals in a safe and efficient manner
- Hospitality: Provide excellent customer service to residents or patients
- Food service management: Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices
- Coffee: Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Dietary department: Understanding of the role and responsibilities of a dietary department in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Kitchen management: Ability to oversee kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Shift management: Experience in managing schedules and coordinating staff during different shifts
- Help: Willingness to assist others and provide support as needed
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and customer service
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and ensure smooth operations
