**Position**: Doggie Daycare Manager

**Location**: Hot Dog on a Leash
1308 Oak Ave.
Carlsbad, CA 92009

**Pay**:$17 per hour (untaxed), equivalent to approximately $22 per hour

**Hours**:Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

**Additional Opportunity**:Ability to board dogs in your own home at $50/night

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the doggie daycare facility, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all furry guests.
- Supervise staff members and coordinate their tasks effectively.
- Interact with clients and provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Monitor and assess dog behavior, intervening as necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure the well-being of all animals.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in managing people and multiple dogs in a daycare or similar setting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow and give direction effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with both colleagues and clients.
- Background in understanding and managing dog behaviors.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to and from work.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed.
- Ability to board dogs in your own home when opportunities arise.
