**Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team for Summer as a Camp Instructor. As an English Teacher, you play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them develop **strong language skills**.

This camp is focused on communication mastery and public speaking skills for students from grades 2 to 5. The Camp Instructor will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging workshops and activities that foster confidence, creativity, and effective communication in campers. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in empowering young learners through storytelling and public speaking.

**Duties**:

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
- Lead daily workshops and activities focused on communication mastery, public speaking basics, voice modulation, and overcoming nervousness. Provide instruction, guidance, and feedback to campers to support their learning and growth.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote active participation and critical thinking.
- Plan and implement interactive activities, games, and exercises to engage campers and reinforce key concepts related to communication and public speaking. Encourage participation, creativity, and collaboration among campers.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times during camp activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with elementary school-aged children in a camp, educational, or recreational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with young learners.
- Knowledge of communication theory, public speaking techniques, and storytelling principles.
- Ability to plan and facilitate engaging and interactive workshops and activities.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Fingerprinting and background will be required.

Pay ranges from $100 - $120/ day. Bonus opportunities at the end of the camps for exceptional instructors.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
