Bakery Assistant

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks to support our bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and impeccable final products.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Cut and Prep Cakes for Decorators:

- Prepare cakes for decoration by cutting and shaping them according to specifications.
- Ensure cakes are leveled and ready for decorating.

Assemble Labels and Boxes for Orders:

- Package finished products in accordance with order requirements.
- Affix labels and ensure accurate labeling of products.
- Assemble boxes and arrange products for pickup or delivery.

Wash and Prep Bakeware:

- Clean and sanitize bakeware, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Opportunity to Decorate Products:

- Depending on skill level and interest, there is an opportunity to participate in decorating products under the guidance of experienced decorators.
- Learn various decorating techniques and contribute to the artistic presentation of our baked goods.

Prepare Ingredients as Needed:

- Assist in ingredient preparation such as measuring, cutting, and mixing.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and ready for use in baking.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
