**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
The Director, Division of Administration plans, coordinates, and directs administrative functions including budgeting, information technology, telecommunications, procurement, and office services for the for the Quality Assurance Deputate.

Work involves determining goals, objectives, and priorities for administrative services; developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines to manage division activities; and monitoring revenue and preparing budgetary requests. You work with considerable independence and latitude in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures that support the Quality Assurance Deputate.

Supervision is exercised over a professional, technical, and clerical staff. Work is assigned in the form of broad goals and objectives, and you exercise considerable independent judgment in determining specific goals, objectives, and program priorities. Work is reviewed upon completion by the Director of the Bureau of Finance and Administration through reports and conferences for attainment of goals and objectives and overall program quality.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as an Administrative Officer 3 (Commonwealth title); **or**:

- Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; **or**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
