Awake Overnight Counselor

This is a direct-care position. The Awake Overnight Counselor is responsible for providing logístical and clinical support to residents during the late night, overnight and early morning hours. The AON is responsible for ensuring the safety of all residents during the assigned shift. This position reports directly to the Residential Coordinator. Awake Overnight Counselors are responsible for conducting bed-checks throughout the overnight hours, supervising and supporting resident morning routines, administering medications as needed, completing regular lock-up activities to maintain safety within the program, completing filing and administrative tasks, and all other tasks as assigned by the Residential Coordinators and Director of Programs.

This position is full-time, benefitted with health, vision, and dental insurance. The schedule for this position is Sunday 10p-8a, Monday 10p-8a, Tuesday 10p-8a, and Wednesday 10p-8a. The hourly rate is $21.50. Holidays are required and Bachelor's degree is preferred. All staff at Dover Children's Home must have a valid driver's license and must be 21 years of age or older by the start of their employment.
