- Horning Middle School is seeking a Social Studies and Literacy Teacher to be a part of a five person 8th grade house team. The day would involve starting with advisory (homeroom for 20 minutes) and then having three Social Studies classes and one Literacy class, which is a double block. For Social Studies we use we use TCi as a curricular resource, and for Literacy we use MyPerspectives as the curriculum.
- Horning Middle School has a school-wide house model to meet the academic and social emotional needs of learners as well as having an Advisory each morning to connect with students. Horning also is a schoolwide AVID and PBIS school.
- An interest in working with diverse students and families is required.
