We are looking for a talented and motivated Account Manager to join our team.

**Summary**

The Accounting Supervisor plays an important lead role within the Accounting Department by maintaining the general ledger, reviewing, and preparing financial statements and financial reports, and facilitating audits, monthly close process and reconciling of accounts.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Accounting Funding Team to process ACH, wires, and check payments for deals and assist with proper accounting of such deals
- Manage the monthly close process
- Reconcile bank accounts at monthly and verify deposits and addresses inquiries from banks
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
- Assist with training and mentorship of Staff Accountants and ensure their essential duties and responsibilities are completed accurately and efficiently
- Assist the Controller with any additional duties as assigned

- Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
- Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance

- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of Accounting experience required, financial services experience preferred
- Public Accounting experience a plus
- Personal integrity when working with personal and sensitive financial information
- Knowledge of general financial accounting
