**POSITION TO BE FILLED May 3, 2024**

**HOURS & DAYS OF WORK**:40 hours/week**

**LOCATION OF POSITION**:Throughout Elkhart County Parks System**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**Responsibilities for maintaining park facilities, grounds, and equipment, and protecting park lands and visitors.**

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- **High school diploma or GED with 1 year of related work experience for Park I**
- **Two years of post-secondary education in a related field with 2-5 years related experience for Park II**
- **Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license**
- **Ability to operate various vehicles/equipment/tools in the performance of duties**
- **Ability to work professionally with the public and as a team with other staff**
- **Possession of or ability to obtain/maintain within six (6) months of hire certifications in standard first aid and adult/infant CPR**
- **Pre-employment background check and drug screen**
