JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inferno Systems is looking for an experienced vSphere administrator who enjoys hands-on work with ESXi hardware hosts to work on a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting a medium sized vSphere deployment. You should be ready to jump in to help manage the vSphere cluster while assisting in the design and development of a new updated virtualization solution which will include a combination of virtualization platforms and technologies. The cluster supports an operational element and you should be ready to assist with ad-hoc requests for unique technical requirements and coming up with creative solutions to difficult scenarios. This is not just another vSphere / linux system administrator position and will require both problem solving and self-motivation in order to help support the mission and achieve operational objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience as a vSphere Systems Administrator
- Experience operating in a virtual environment such as VMware vSphere / ESXi, or KVM- Experience integrating LDAP with Windows Active Directory (AD)
- Strong customer service and technical writing skills

DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience with Windows and network administration
- Familiarity with web proxies (iptables, mod_proxy, digital certificates, etc.), common web servers (i.e. Apache, NGINX), SSL certificates, and DNS records.
- Experience with installing, configuring and maintaining physical server hardware

Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
