Machine Packer

**Information about the Company**:Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We have Summer Internship opportunities immediately available for the Machine Packer position in our Williamsburg, PA manufacturing facility.

**Machine Packer Pay/Schedule**:

- $16.01/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr.
- 12 hour shifts - 2 days & 2 nights required : Day shift 7am - 7pm / Night shift 7pm - 7am
- Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during busy season

**Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties**:

- Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed **or** web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
- Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
- Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
- May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned/required.

**Machine Packer Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Some work experience in a production environment is preferred not required.
- Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
- Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills.

**Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

- Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
- Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
- Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
