**_Job Purpose / Job context _**
Ensure the effective operation of the facility by monitoring and managing the computer-based
Material Flow Control System (MFCS) and physically correcting issues with the Material Handling
Equipment (MHE). Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.

- _Pallet flow and automated processes are controlled and executed according to plan _
- _Any issues with the MFCS are resolved in a safe and timely manner _
- Responsibilities _
- _Responsible for the proper, complete and safe operation of the automated material flow control system and material handling equipment in the facility _
- _Communicating MFCS problems to Team Members _
- _Ensuring the MHE is operated according to SOPs and supplier guidelines _
- Core tasks _
- _Monitor and manage the automated computer-based control system for smooth pallet flow throughout the facility _
- _Troubleshoot problems that interrupt automated flow by physically investigating and taking corrective action _
- _Manually control the operation of conveyors and other material handling equipment when necessary _
- _Notify Maintenance Technicians of any equipment needing maintenance or repair and assist team if required _
- _Ensure actions are executed in compliance with OSHA, FSDA requirements, and all other company policies to maintain a safe working environment _
- _Act in line with agreed procedures for ensuring quality of product is maintained at all times in line with customer requirements _
- _Coordinate with Planners and Maintenance Technicians to ensure any problems are accounted for and resolved with mínimal impact to normal operations _
- _Complete Shift Handover reports _
- Additional tasks _
- _Assist in other warehouse activities as required _
- _Maintain a clean and tidy work environment _
- _Continually look for opportunities for improvement _

- _2+ years of work experience in related fields _
- _Experience with operating Material Flow Control Systems (e.g. automated conveyors,) or Industrial _
- Control Systems preferred _
- _Strong computer skills _
- Other Requirements _
- _This position will need to train internationally so a valid passport is required _
- Physical Demands _
- _Must be in good physical condition _
- _Must be able to lift 50lbs _
- _Must be able to work effectively in cold freezer environment _
- _Must be able to climb 120ft ladder using safety harness _
- _On occasion, will be required to wear a SCBA while working, requiring employee to be clean shaven. _
