Accounting Clerk

**Job Overview**:
Seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to maintain financial records, month-end closing & reconciliation, processing daily transactions, managing outstanding accounts receivables & payables, and working closely with the operations team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting processes
- Verify transactions are recorded correctly into GL and subsidiary ledgers
- Process daily transactions and generate invoices
- Reconcile GL account at period end
- Process payments received
- Process payroll at each payroll period
- process accounts receivable/payable and collect outstanding balances
- Perform any other data entry as needed

**Skills**:

- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Accounting or Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
