- JOB SUMMARY:
- This position develops and implements an effective instructional program, and provides related educational services based on the needs identified in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities, as required. This position teaches EMPLOY, the Prince William County Public Schools career education curriculum, which is designed to prepare students with disabilities for the transition from school to work and independent living. This position's areas of instructional focus includes: investigating various occupational fields; examining occupational requirements, and selecting a career pathway; developing positive work traits and attitudes; developing skills required for specific occupations; conducting a job search; maintaining successful employment; and balancing the roles of worker, family member, and citizen. This position performs work under general supervision of the principal and/or other designated administrator.- Job Description- DAYS:
