**Responsibilities**:

- Complies with all site health, safety, and environmental policies
- Provides technical expertise with the installation, maintenance, and service of electrical systems
- Performs work in an inclusive and respectful manner
- Provides technical electrical expertise for unit support and power distribution.
- Assists with acceptance, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, of electrical equipment up to 138kV
- Supports troubleshooting activities for electrical low, medium and high voltage equipment
- Identifies opportunities for equipment repair cost reduction
- Supports auditing maintenance PM’s and providing recommendations to improve reliability and availability of electrical equipment
- Examines and provides repair recommendations for thermal imaging reports.
- Utilizes SAP and Meridium to review equipment repair feedback, review BOM’s, review PM’s tasks, and review electrical PM forms

**Responsibilities (continued)**:

- Supports managing and coordinating expense, capital projects, and turnarounds.
- Works with multiple departments to help identify opportunities in our Operations Maintenance Work Process.
- Supports maintenance procedure reviews and updates.
- Assists with training and continuing education program for maintenance electricians and power distribution technicians
- Assists engineering and reliability department to support new maintenance strategies, equipment upgrades, projects, and new technology implementations

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma/GED and 10yrs Electrical related field experience OR Electrical technical certification and 10 years Electrical related field experience OR associate degree in Electrical
- Knowledge of electrical systems up to 138 kV
- Ability to define problems and draw conclusions in challenging technical situations up to an including pulling drawings, utilizing electronic document systems, and consulting vendor manuals
- Proficient in CMMS/SAP and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret and understand electrical drawings, one lines, schematics, PLC logic, and equipment manuals
- Ability to support electrical troubleshooting and provide repair recommendations.
- Understanding of operational excellence and process safety management
- Supports outages and emergency maintenance activities on as needed basis where overtime is required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in manufacturing process maintenance (electrical and/or instrument technology)
- Ability to interact with other departments for equipment repairs and electrical source transfers
- Knowledge of PLC/electrical network design, software programming and hardware implementation
- Understanding of the NFPA70, 70E, 70B, IEEE and NEC Code
- Knowledge of NETA Standards
- Testing specifications
- Maintenance Testing Specifications
- Electrical Commissioning Standards
- Knowledge of protective relay function, data download, troubleshooting, and alarm (first out) diagnosis.
- Strong knowledge in electrical preventative maintenance strategies.
- Knowledge with synchronous motor principles and technology
- Strong knowledge of maintenance work processes
