To provide support to our customers by performing any one or a combination of the functions below in order to ensure a positive customer experience.- WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results.- Major Responsibility: Coordination of workflow - Ops Specialist- Supporting Actions:
- Coordinates the activities for both regular and temporary associates in assigned work area to ensure continuous workflow.
- Communicates with operations Supervisor/Manager to assist in the development of daily work schedules that minimize overtime and reduce labor costs.
- Ensures that all associates (IM and temp) are trained in job functions either by utilizing an OJT of by providing training themselves.
- Ensures that all associates are training on any new processes
- Ensure all associates are being productive
- May be required to run daily productivity reports
- Perform observations on any associates who are struggling to meet productivity in order to provide feedback to them to assist in improving their productivity
- Ensures that all associates are following 5S and Housekeeping processes
- Major Responsibility: Specialized Equipment Operators

Supporting Actions:
- Utilizes Reach Truck/Order selector to pick orders (outbound), stock product (inbound). These equipment operators perform this function 100% of their day and are held to productivity standards.
- Major Responsibility: Production Control

Supporting Actions:
- Create/organize batches
- Release orders for picking across all areas
- End Results: Orders are released for picking/packaging to customers

Training Specialist- Responsible for providing and conduction training in job-specific functions/areas, focusing on quality, continuous improvement, and ensuring documented processes are followed in order to improve associate performance as well as the long term success of the ALC.- Supporting Actions:
- Train associates for specific jobs through on-the-job training, classroom training or a combination of the two
- Ensure all training is properly documented in IM-Trained for both full time and temporary associates
- Help associates improve upon or enhance existing skills

- Conduct observations to help identify areas of opportunity to improve associate productivity and performance
- Identify and assess the training needs within the ALC
- Meet with managers and supervisors to ascertain needs
- Review errors in IM-Accurate and identify training opportunities based on error analysis
- Conduct process audits, random sampling and continuous improvement audits, and prepare specific action plans based on findings
- Hold meetings and presentations on training material
- Plan, organize and implement a range of training activities
- Assist with the implementation and installation of a virtual warehouse; Create monitored simulations and problem solving scenarios
- Create handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
- Acclimate new hires to the operation and conduct orientation sessions
- Deliver training courses
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into associate work behavior
- Use existing QMS documentation to inspect and report quality related issues
- Monitor areas of operation that affect quality by checking processes and final output
- Review Shipping Accuracy CDR’s to determine root cause for discrepancy and identify trends that can be addressed through training opportunities
- Provide feedback to management and staffing agency regarding new hire performance, issues or concerns
- Monitor all training requiring recertification (equipment, ESD, hazmat, etc.) and ensure recertification training is conducted within established timeframe as outlined in company Policies and Procedures
- End Results: All associates are properly trained and training is documented
