**ABOUT NICKSON**:

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:
This person will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and transporting truckloads of furnishings and home goods. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Properly operate large box trucks (16’ - 26’)
- Move and place furniture according to detailed instructions
- Arrange furniture to fit apartment layouts
- Prepare furniture and home goods for truck transport (e.g. wrap and protect all items with blankets, moving pads, and other warehouse supplies)
- Properly load moving trucks to maximize space and ensure safe transport of all items
- Lift heavy items daily using proper lifting technique
- Follow detailed written instructions

At times you may be asked to assist the Warehouse Team or Install Team with their responsibilities. These additional tasks may include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with receiving shipments by unloading and scanning in inventory
- Assemble a wide array of furniture using basic hand and power tools
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintain inventory controls by recording and photographing items received or distributed through an asset tracking system
- Mount pictures and curtains
- Mount TV's
- Position miscellaneous décor items
- Wipe down furniture
- Mop/ Vacuum completed apartment

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 2+ years of professional warehouse, building, moving, or installing experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools
- Ability to read, write, and follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Strong logic and spatial reasoning skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently with or without reasonable accommodation
- Familiarity with apartment unit layouts and infrastructures
- Must be a team player and treat coworkers with respect
- Willingness to uphold company standards for safety, tenant service, and efficiency
- Ability to work occasional overtime and other shifts, including some weekends
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

**Required**:

- Must have valid Texas driver’s license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
