- UNITED AUTO WORKERS (UAW)This position will serve as the department’s expert for the assigned highly complex major public health program initiative, Racial Disparities Task Force (RDTF) Project. This project coordinator will play a key role in advancing the state’s commitment to addressing and mitigating racial disparities. This position is designed to oversee the effective coordination
of initiatives aimed at promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with community based organizations, evaluators, and various partners to implement strategies that lead to measurable and sustainable reductions in racial disparities.

**Required Education and Experience**:
**Education**
- Possession of a master's degree in public health, health communication, health policy or a public health-related field such as nursing, epidemiology, health education, health economics, dietetics/nutrition management, genetics, or speech and audiology; a master's degree in social work; master's degree in counseling; master's degree in special education with specialization in blind/visual disabilities; or a master's degree in public or business administration with a health care concentration.

**Experience**
- Four years of professional, post-master's experience as a consultant in a field of public health equivalent to a Public Health Consultant, including two years equivalent to a Public Health Consultant P11 or one year equivalent to a Public Health Consultant 12.

**Additional Requirements and Information**:
**Position Location/Remote Office**: The physical location of this position is 333 S. Grand Blvd., Lansing, MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:

- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
