**General Statement of Duties**:

- Performs semi-skilled work involving the processing of institutional linens. Work is repetitive in nature, but requires attention to detail to prevent cross-contamination of soiled to clean linen. Position reports to Laundry Foreman.- Preference will be given to current Town of Greenwich employees who are members of Teamsters Local 456._

- Folds clean linen and stores it according to procedure.
- Fills linen carts according to standards, transports them to patient units.
- Cleans equipment, mops floors and keeps area neat.
- Observes good personal hygiene including proper hand washing techniques.
- Adheres to infection control procedures as required by facility policies.
- May be assigned to laundry duties in the main laundry, personal laundry or resident units.
- Performs related work as assigned.
