Surgical Technology Lab Instructor

**Role Description**

This is an on-site role located in Milpitas, CA for a Surgical Technology Lab Instructor. The Surgical Technology Lab Instructor will be responsible for instructing and supervising students. The position will require extensive knowledge of current surgical technology and techniques. The Surgical Technology Lab Instructor will also be responsible for assessing student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records.

**Qualifications**
- Must possess a current and valid Surgical Technology certification
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in a Surgical Technology Instructor position preferred or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field as a Surg Tech.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation preferred but not required
- Attention to detail is required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with academic technology and software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred but not required. (We can train)
- Must maintain CEU requirements as specified by standards set forth by all relevant governing bodies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
