Youth Soccer Coach

**About us**

The Austin Texans Soccer Club was established for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth soccer program whose goals are to achieve state, regional, and national championship titles, as well as developing players capable of receiving college scholarships based on their playing with strong soccer ability, we would also hope to build character, leadership and skills that can carry them into adulthood.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Soccer Coach to join our team. As a Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and developing soccer skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment for players of all ages.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging soccer training sessions that focus on skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Teach fundamental soccer techniques such as passing, shooting, dribbling, and defending
- Create practice drills and game strategies to enhance players' abilities and understanding of the game
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to help them improve their skills and performance
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players
- Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and matches
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches regarding schedules, expectations, and team updates
- Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching knowledge and skills

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students or children in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Strong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and maintain discipline during training sessions
- Passion for soccer and a desire to inspire young athletes
- Available weekdays for practice and weekends for games
- Able to travel easily within the Austin area.
- Active and high energy

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
