Phelbotomist

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures on patients for blood collection.
- Label, sort, and package collected samples appropriately.
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of tests performed.
- Follow proper procedures for specimen collection and handling.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the blood-drawing process.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $20.12 - $24.23 per hour

License/Certification:

- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (required)
