Fitness Ambassador

495 Strength & Performance is a high-level coaching program that believes every body is an athlete, and everyone has the opportunity to achieve greatness in sport and in life through hard work. We are community driven with a focus on the emerging student-athlete to help guide them through the both the rigors of athletics but also the challenges of life as a student, son, daughter, brother, sister.

Our strength coaching is a hybrid-model that offers a combination of remote/online and in-person coaching. Our gym is located at 5020 Boiling Brook Parkway, North Bethesda, MD. We emphasis strength, speed, and durability/injury pre-hab and rehab through unwavering standards in human movement.

Our goals are to:
A.) Provide the highest level of guidance and instruction to student-athletes and offer a community outside of their team environment.

B.) Develop Power Athletes in the sports of football, baseball, wrestling, track & field, and powerlifting.

C.) Represent DMV Based High School Powerlifters under the 495 Strength & Performance Team at the U.S.A. IPF-Affiliate National Championships.

D.) Promote Drug-Free Sports and a Level Playing Field across all sports.

We are hiring Fitness Ambassadors to promote and establish the 495 Strength & Performance brand.

As a Fitness Ambassador, you have the role as Brand Ambassador, Membership Recruitment, and Sales Engineer in one.

You will partner with the Owner of 495 Strength & Performance to develop and execute a plan to Promote the Brand, Build Community and Establish New Health & Fitness Offerings

You will develop a social media account, strategy, and campaign to pipeline leads into membership consultations.

You will represent 495 Strength & Performance at Community Events and Marketing Activities.

You will be promote Strength and Wellness in and outside the gym.

You will generate 10 leads and 6 membership consultations per month.

You will post daily across all designated social media channels for example, Instagram, Facebook Groups, X, TikTok, and YouTube.

You will assist with the creation, curation, and upkeep of a 495 You Tube Channel, Podcast, and short form media to both educate and draw leads.

You will engage with the community by planning and offering seminars on Powerlifting, Health, and Strength both in the High School, College, and Community.

You will assist the Head Coach with the planning and operation of Powerlifting Meets.

You will be coached by the Head Coach and promote Drug-Free Sport under the USADA for Powerlifting, Weightlifting, and Track & Field activities.

Credentials:
You will be a High School Graduate from a Montgomery County Public School currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree Program.

You will have an academic interest in Business, Marketing, Communications, Exercise Science or related field.

You will have an existing or emerging presence on social media.

Basic knowledge of Google Business Suite and Microsoft office is a must and the desire to learn and leverage these tools is required.

Experience with the following software products is a plus: Wordpress, CANVA, TrueCoach, or Constant Contact.

Compensation Plan:
There is no cap on annual compensation. Your year 1 goal is to earn a minimum of $40,000 based on sales metrics.

New Clients sales commission: 80% of month 1 payment, 40% monthly through athlete’s year 1, 50% monthly through athlete’s year 2, 60% monthly through athlete’s year 3 and beyond.

Note: Fitness Ambassadors must be actively employed on-site or remote to earn commission.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
