**Pacific Coast Producers (PCP)**, a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is looking for an experienced and highly skilled **(Instrument Technicia**n)** **to join our team at our Production Facility located in Oroville, CA. Our Oroville facility produces pears, peaches, fruit cocktails, and employs 169 full-time workers year-round and a seasonal work force of over 1,200.

**Pay Rate**: $27.17-$36.84 per hour. Full time/ 40 hours per week with some weekend and overtime hours required when needed. This position is part of a seniority based Collective Bargaining Unit (CBA) and requires work on various shifts.

**Primary job duties would include**:

- Full responsibility under superintendent or supervisor for the effective operation of electrical and electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, instruments, gauges, or controls, and related instruments.
- Install, adjust, maintain, repair, and overhaul instruments and related equipment.
- Overhaul cannery instruments, controls, and related instruments
- Recognize and correct potential instrument failures.
- Test, time and calibrate instruments and related equipment for efficient performance.
- Read blueprints, charts, sketches, and operating instructions and proceed accordingly.
- Keep maintenance records on instruments.
- Obtain and maintain an adequate supply of instrument repair parts.
- Responsible for work and instrument layout and requisitioning necessary equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Satisfactory completion of a related educational certificate, program, or degree; and/or comparable work experience, plus formal training in this area; and a fundamental instrument control aptitude, which may be assessed by a practical exam.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an instrument technician, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Utilize communication skills to interact with colleagues and internal customers.
- Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as required
