**Front Desk Manager**

Job Duties:

- Accomplishes Front Desk objectives by overseeing Front Desk Agents by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures. Run weekly update meetings with team to ensure communication flow for all issues and upcoming events.
- Ensure the satisfaction of all guests from the moment they walk into the property until their departure. Handle guest relations issues by handling them directly or escalating them through the proper channels (maintenance, management, etc). Backup Front Desk Agents with all of their responsibilities as needed, including ensuring they are posting room charge transactions promptly.
- Responsible for financial reconciliations:

- Group and Online Reservations
- Inventory Management - including bicycles (ensuring all accounted for and locked), parking permits (ensuring all accounted for), office supplies (weekly orders to staples), mailing supplies (FedEx, UPS, Postage, Envelopes)
- Promotional and Marketing Management - Use promotional sites and marketing tools to increase off season room sales.
- Ensure Interdepartmental Communication - Keeping other departments informed of any needs of the hotel such as housekeeping, maintenance, or restaurant on a daily basis
- Media Management
