Macatawa Bay Yacht Club is a prestigious club in Macatawa, Michigan. We are a professional organization that provides over 80 wet slips and dry storage. The club is known for its Sailing proudness, regatta management, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and social standing in the community. Our goal is to enhance and make the member experience the best it can be.

Job Overview:
The prestigious Macatawa Bay Yacht Club has an immediate opening for the Dock Master position. The Dock Master runs the harbor, yard, and dock employees. The Dock Master will be responsible for ensuring the docks, yard and building are maintained and kept in good working order. This roll interfaces with the membership, employees, and management.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and oversee all dock operations, including the scheduling of yard personnel.
- Supervise dock personnel, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Inspect and maintain dock equipment, including cranes and launch facilities.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs on dock equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
