**Job Title**:Maintenance Helper (FDIC)**

**Job Summary**: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a **Maintenance Helper** at FDIC in **Arlington, VA. **This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations.
- Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.
- Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.
- Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems.
- Perform snow removal.
- Assist Engineers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience performing minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.**:

- Experience performing snow removal
- Must be able to work any shift assigned.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to work overtime.
- Must be able to work safely.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

**Physical Demands**:

- Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
