**Pay Range**: $70,000- $85,000 (dependent upon experience)
**Status**: Full Time / Part Time
**Shift**: MCI services are provided 24/7/365. Current openings for Day Shift (7am-330pm/ 8am-430pm), Evening Shift (3pm-1130pm/ 4pm-12am) or Split Shift (1pm-930pm/ 12pm-8pm). Full time employees are required to work a weekend shift.

**About Us**

High Point is excited to be growing and expanding mental health services in the Brockton Community for patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis requiring a crisis intervention assessment and connection to services.

As part of the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) initiative, Brockton High Point will be transitioning to become the new Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) agency for the Brockton community and surrounding towns. MCI services provide 24/7/365 crisis intervention services for patients experiencing mental health crisis, including increased mental health symptoms, concerns for safety to self or others, and seeking access to services. Crisis evaluations support patients and families in assessing the crisis and determining the next step and referral for treatment, including: Inpatient hospitalization, dual diagnosis services, Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (ACCS), outpatient services under the CBHC for adults and youth, and referrals to external agencies for other services.

High Point will be hiring for multiple positions to support the opening and operations of the MCI services for adults and youth. Individuals hired will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals includes licensed clinicians, Master’s level clinicians, certified peer specialists, patient resource navigators, nursing, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, medical physicians, and psychologists. As a member of the MCI team, you will also become connected with a large and growing treatment agency to provide multiple opportunities for patients seeking treatment within a strong continuum of care for both mental health services, substance use treatment services, and dual diagnosis care.

**Requirements**:

- Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative manner.
- TB screening
- Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program
- Strong and effective verbal, written and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPTC's electronic medical records
- Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site
- Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Provides short-term service that is mobile, on-site, face to face therapeutic response to a youth/adult experiencing a behavioral health crisis;
- Completes crisis assessment for the purpose of identifying risk, creating a safety plan and disposition to appropriate services based on severity of symptoms;
- Stabilization of crisis and reducing immediate risk of danger to identified patient or others;
- Provide follow up clinical support post evaluation to ensure continuity of care with recommended aftercare services;
- Assist with coordinate of care of community based services, including PHP, IOP, Outpatient Services, Psychiatric Medication, peer and recovery supports;
- Assist with inpatient disposition, including: bed searches, insurance authorizations, coordination of ACCS transitions;
- Provides phone support to patients contacting crisis services;
- Screening and triage of requests for mobile crisis evaluations;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends;
- Knowledge of and experience with utilizing Child Behavioral Health Initiative services;
- Able to provide clinical care and support to patients to prevent hospitalization and stabilize within the community;
- Ability to use verbal de-escalation and assess safety during an assessment;
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations;
- Participate in Team Meetings and supervision;
- Crisis intervention and screening for patients at risk;
- Responsible for each assigned patients medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manners
