As a Movita Juice Bar **Shift Captain**, you’ll be a role model of the store operations standards that define our _Health in a Cup _motto.

You’ll lead each shift, working alongside a team of baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly crafted smoothies/juices/acai bowls.

You’ll be in a warm and welcoming store environment, where you’ll have the ability to positively influence and guide others, maintain an encouraging team environment, and grow your leadership skills.

We believe our Shift Captains are leaders in creating an uplifting experience for our customers.

**On average this role earns $19.50/hr. **_**Base wage $18 + tips $1.50 = $19.50**_
- **Open availability including weekends preferred**_

Be a part of this growing company, experience in food/beverage preparation is not required, full training is provided.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items, answer questions, and process orders and payments
- Ensure team prepares smoothies, acai bowls and fresh juice drinks that meet our specifications and high quality standards
- Shift Captains should be available to work opening shifts, transition and closing shifts.
- Train and evaluate employees
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
- Help maintain inventory
- Reconcile registers/handle cash
- Clean and restock work areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls
- Perform other assigned duties

**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**
- High School Diploma or GED graduate preferred
- **1 year Shift Lead experience, (at least 1 year)**:

- Food Handlers Certification, or open to obtaining one
- Strong customer service skills preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
- Ability to learn and use company computer to input data
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as needed, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in team setting, especially during a busy rush
