The _**Banquet Houseman is a part time on call position and **_is responsible for completing all setups and final breakdown of functions according to the Banquet Event Order. Housemen are responsible for the cleaning and detailing the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet inventory, storage areas and public space. Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. Communicate and work closely with Banquet Captain, Servers, Bartenders and various Vendors to ensure a high level of service and seamless event transitions.
Nights, weekends, and holiday hours are required. This position is a full time seasonal job.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Complete Safety Training and Certifications as required.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., Banquet Event Orders and Diagram).
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit for extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less without assistance and 75 pounds or more with assistance.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
- Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule and assist other departments when necessary.
- Nights, weekends, and holiday shifts are required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
