New GDLC LLC is looking to add a Die Cast Setup Technician to join our team

**Summary of Position**

The primary function of the Die Cast Setup Technician is to perform setups, both cast and trim, with the assistance of the Die Cast Operator in an efficient manner to reduce downtime.

**Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare presses and work sites for set up.
- Prepare, install, set up, and remove dies according to set up instructions.
- Maintain an inventory of cast and trim parts in a “ready to run” condition. These parts include but are not limited to pistons, shot tubes, shot shafts, cast dies, trim dies, spray heads, ladles, nuts, bolts, clamps, and blocks.
- Program the robots and ladles to insure accurate and efficient production.
- Set controls, time cycles and material feeds, and make necessary adjustments on machines to insure production of in spec products
- Adjust machines to have proper dimensions and finish
- Troubleshoot operational issues with the trim die and die cast machine as necessary
- Minimize the amount of die cast machine downtime due to die changes.
- Consistently follow safety procedures during all phases of work; set up, installation of dies, loading material, operating presses, troubleshooting, and while making minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment according to 5S and company safety guidelines
- Properly inspect as required to assure product quality and identify and tag parts per work instructions
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding hourly production rates
- Willingness and initiative to strive to improve process to continually increase production and improve quality.
- Assist the team with other duties as assigned

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
