**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**JOB DUTIES**:

- Ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Complete quality/safety checks and documentation of all completed work before delivery to client.
- Assist with the management of automotive technicians, shop attendants, and their training.
- Monitor and follow up on parts inventory and parts orders
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing and all are processed correctly.
- Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Serves as liaison with vendors.
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to company's guidelines.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Maintains a professional appearance.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to effectively diagnose problems and efficiently manage a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- Knowledge working with shop management software such as Auto Leap, ROWriter, ShopKey
- Familiar using vehicle repair information lookup such as AllData and Identifix
- Current driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent, continued education a plus
- Must have prior experience as a service advisor / manager
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drugs)
