Carpenter Apprentice

Are you passionate about woodworking and homebuilding, and eager to kickstart your career as a carpenter? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced carpenters to learn the trade and develop your skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help prepare worksites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
- Assist experienced carpenters with all aspects of carpentry and home building work, including measuring, cutting, shaping, tile work, painting, and other ad hoc tasks.
- Gain proficiency in framing, finishing, and installing wooden structures, cabinets, furniture, and other carpentry projects.
- Seek opportunities to learn and improve skills through on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced carpenters.
- Follow blueprints, sketches, or instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent_._
- Strong interest in woodworking and construction.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in carpentry.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
- Prior experience or training in carpentry is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
