Garage Door Installer/technician

We are seeking a Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing and assembling various components and systems according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, carpentry skills, and the ability to work with precision. Technicians will travel to various service calls throughout the day. Each day will be different, as our company provides a variety of service and sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet standards.
- Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds independently.
- Must be able to work in the heat and cold, both outside and inside of buildings that may not be temperature-controlled.
- Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to operate without direct supervision at all times.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Be reliable and able to serve our customers following our process.

**Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required - we will train you.**

**Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable.**

**We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.**

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Door hanging: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Durand, IL 61024 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Durand, IL 61024: Relocate before starting work (required)
