**RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF TEENS**:

- With the guidance of the Executive Branch Director, develops, implements, and manages youth and teen programs, complying with all Association standards and safety procedures.
- Works in teen center and/or lead programs as needed.
- Assists in the development, monitoring of the teen department budget. Assesses and recommends budgeting for program need to the Executive Director.
- Develops collaborative relationships with community youth-serving institutions, including schools, youth agencies, parks and recreation, and service clubs.
- This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS TO BE **A **PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF TEENS**:

- Ability to train teen staff
- A passion for working with teens
- Minimum three years working in teen programs including program development, volunteer supervision and specialized program areas
- Bachelor's degree in education, social services, recreation or equivalent
- Ability to develop positive relationships
