**Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Patient Shuttle Services (TRANSPORTATION EXPERIENCE ONLY)**

**Location**: Bethesda, MD

**Reports to**: Project Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Coordination**:

- Assist in the daily management and coordination of the Transportation Desk staff and shuttle bus services.
- Oversee dispatcher activities to ensure efficient communication and scheduling.
- Develop and optimize routes to improve service efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- **Staff Supervision**:

- Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of dispatchers and shuttle bus drivers.
- Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback and training as needed.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing attendance records.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to shuttle bus operations.
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for operations.
- Support budgeting and financial tracking for the department.
- **Technology and Systems Management**:

- Utilize and manage transportation management software for scheduling and dispatching.
- Implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze data to optimize service performance.
- **Project Assistance**:

- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects related to dispatcher and shuttle bus services.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field. Work history may be considered in place of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation management, dispatching, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Familiarity with GPS and routing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation and ability to manage customer relationships.

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Ability to work in an office environment and on-site as required.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
