As the Estimator, you will be expected to identify new opportunities & projects to bid through public and private channels, perform accurate take-offs from new construction prints or job site visits, send material & labor quantities out to bid with our subcontractor and supplier partners, create to cost to produce budgets and package proposals for review to the department supervisor. Once projects are awarded the estimator will prepare a final package for the production department by preparing Material Purchase Orders, Work Orders for Sub-Contractors, and budgets for accounting.

**What we're looking for**:

- 3 to 5+ years' experience in construction estimation and project management.
- Certifications preferred/required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must work well both independently and as a team.
- Self-starter with proven ability to exceed goals.
- Willingness to learn additional skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, The Edge, and/or other takeoff estimating software.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other client relationship management software preferred.
- Honesty, reliability, and kindness are all important to our workplace environment

**Schedule**:
Office hours are somewhat flexible Monday - Friday in the Plymouth, IN office. Given the nature of the Sales department and the demand to work around the seasons and the weather, it is expected that the Commercial Estimator is flexible in their schedule. During less busy seasons and/or on rain/snow days the Estimator is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
