**Compensation**: $32.00 per/hour, paid weekly.

AGS Protect is expanding our team of Non-Lethal (Byrna Projector) Armed Security Officers for immediate hire and training to provide security services in a retail environment. If you have the expertise to excel in a retail security environment, we want to hear from you

What is a Non-Lethal Armed Officer? AGS is utilizing the Byrna non-lethal projector guns in lieu of traditional firearm to provide our officers with a safe, reliable and effective non-lethal alternative to traditional firearms that will allow our officers to protect and defend themselves, our customers and their clients without the need to resort to deadly force.

AGS Protect will provide training to transition officers currently trained in traditional firearms to the Byrna Projector. We will also provide the Byrna Projector, holster, Kinetic and Pepper Ball ammunition.

**Your Role**: As a Non-Lethal Armed Officer: You will be a visible deterrent against theft and vandalism at retail locations in the Oakland-Emmerville area. Your presence will be crucial in preventing crimes and making private persons’ arrests when necessary.

**Requirements**:
Minimum age of 21.

Current BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit.

Pepper Spray training and certificate.

Handcuffing trained.

POST Certification or 832 PC (Arrest & Firearms) Training Preferred.

Drivers license with less than 2 points

Strong communication skills (speaking, typing, writing).

Commitment to making private persons arrest if needed.

Vigilance in observation and reporting, with the ability to contact local authorities or emergency services.

Proficiency in using phones and computers for reporting.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Clear criminal background and drug screening.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing, walking, etc.).

Former military, law enforcement, and certified security professionals are highly valued.
