Experienced Accounting Clerk needed for manufacturing company at busy office. Duties include managing and reviewing day to day accounting duties in QuickBooks and other projects as assigned by accounting team. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task, detail oriented, understanding heavy data and independent thinker. Must be able to prioritize work load, remain quick and focused. Job located in Lumberton, TX. Hours Mon - Fri, 8 to 5.

**Essential Job Duties**

Basic knowledge to oversee and process the accounts payable and receivable function for all locations.

Enter data into QuickBooks in an efficient manner with mínimal or no errors.

Ensure all records have the proper documentation and stored saved in digital files for audit purposes.

Ensure transactions are coded to the proper class and inventory sites.

Assist with the monthly reconciliation process for bank accounts, credit cards and quarterly inventory.

Communicates with coworkers, customers, vendors, and consumers in a professional manner.

Assist with managing inventory: oversee that inventory transactions such as assembly builds and inventory transfers are being recorded accurately.

Review inventory counts as needed.

Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues

Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Work within a team of 1-2 individuals

**Education and Experience**

Previous experience working in an accounting role preferred

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum 3 years of related experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Accounting Software (QuickBooks preferred), Adobe PDF.

Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies or errors

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
